Welcome to the Morris Owners Club (South Island) website. Owners of Morris vehicles in the South Island of New Zealand are cordially invited to join the club and activities. These are centred in Christchurch, but encompass much of the Canterbury region.
On this site you will find information on various Morris Vehicles - pictures of members cars - feature cars - club events, and more technical stuff will be added as we get the site sorted. Do come back often.
The Morris Owners' Club South Island was formed by a group of Morris motoring enthusiasts from Christchurch in 1996.
The club possesses a useful parts facility, which also contains a wide variety of workshop manuals and parts catalogues for the members' use.
A number of members share useful technical knowledge, which can lead to major rebuild information for the restorer.
A quarterly magazine contains details of past and coming events, cars for sale or wanted, as well as articles of a technical nature, illustrated with photographs. A newsletter is published additionally when required, and can be emailed.
The active committee meets on the second Monday of each month, plus an Annual General meeting for all members is held each April.
Subscription is presently $30.00 single per annum (plus $5.00 extra for a double membership).
